On 3 February 2005, Foreign Minister Surakiart met with Ms.Carol Bellamy, Executive Director of the Unicef , in Thailand. On 29 September 2004, Foreign Minister Surakiart met with UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan on the occasion of the 59th Session of the UNGA. On 27 September 2004, Foreign Minister Surakiart delivered a Statement to the 59th Session of the United Nations General Assembly in which he emphasized the need to make the United Nations more effective through concerted international efforts.     Foreign Minister Surakiart was greeted by Mr. Kofi Annan, United Nations Secretary-General, at the United Nations. September 2004 On 15 January 2004, Foreign Minister met with Dr.Assad Kotaite, President of the Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), in Thailand.
